Well, its only been a year and a half since my last post........long story I won't bore you with.
However, I'm about to embark on a pair of exciting dive trips, so I thought I'd re-learn how to use the blog since I'm pretty bad about sending postcards (I have a tendency to mail them when I get back home!)
I did get out a bit this summer and am really excited about having had the opportunity to dive the SS Michigan since the MSRA released the GPS numbers this past spring. The wreck lies over 15 miles out of Saugatuck, Michigan at a depth of 270 feet. Took the camera on the last pair of dives and got a couple of usable shots (barely). So here they are:

As you descend down the mooring line, your first sight of the wreck includes these crossed anchors:
Inside the stern, the ship's lantern closet is definitely a highlight of the dive. Check out the workbench and the shelves of lanterns on the right:
