In deciding whether or not to go to Cozumel, the following sites were very informative regarding the Hurricane Wilma damage and recovery:
TravelNotes Post Hurricane Wilma Updates
Thank god for the internet, because the mainstream diving press has been largely silent on Cozumel's issues and recovery. Hopefully I'll be able to fill the void.
The biggest piece of diving-related information that I gleaned from my surfing was that the following sites have been closed by the Marine Park: Paradise Reef, Yucab, Tormentos, Chankanab and the Felipe Xicotencatl C-53 shipwreck.
The wreck was cut in half by the hurricane. Think about that...... a 154 foot long minesweeper (only sunk in 1999), sitting in 82 feet of water was CUT IN HALF!
We'll be staying at Scuba Club Cozumel, which is less than a mile south of San Miguel. What's cool is that they just installed FREE wireless internet in the hotel bar. That makes blogging the trip a heck of a lot easier!

Cozumel - it my favorite place in Mexico.
I love scuba diving in cozumel : )
